SETTING the TIME and
DATE on Your NEW WATCH |
We decided to post this information after
getting many emails on how to properly set date and time on our watches.
This information pertains to Rolex replica automatic watches. Quartz,
explained later, is set just by pulling on the stem. Quartz watches
reply solely on battery power and really are self explaining. Many other
automatic replica brands have similar but slightly different methods of
adjustments.
1.
First you need to unscrew the crown (stem) of the watch. Turn
dial from up to down (downwards) you will feel the knob loosen and then
it will pop out gently.
2.
SELF-WIND: Once at this position you can self wind
the watch by turning the crown up. What self-winding does it improves
the power reserve charge for your automatic watch. When turning the stem
up you will hear the gears of the motor actually winding itself. Do not
over wind the watch, as it will not improve the charge, wind it 3 to 4
minutes. Self winding is not required everyday or even needed on some
models, this feature is just mentioned to show how superior and detailed
our watches are.
3.
DATE: Pull out the stem very gently and turn upward
to set the date. If you have a Presidential watch turn downwards to set
the day of the week.
4.
TIME: To set the time, pull the stem further and
turn to set the appropriate time.
5.
Finally push the stem in and simultaneously turn upwards to screw
back the stem.
